About Me

Even
though this is Brian's first release, he is not new to music. For over fifteen
years Brian has been writing, arranging, and performing.
He plays a variety of instruments, but he mainly plays the piano. He has sung and played for churches, venues, and outreaches all over the US and the world.
His passion is to serve the Lord with all his heart and to use the gifts God has given him to touch others with the truth.
Brian believes music is a powerful tool that can be used to bring the gospel to people who wouldn't normally listen to it. He also believes that music is a way to engage Christians in praising God and bowing before Him.In the beginning mankind walked with God, but when Adam and Eve disobeyed and ate from the forbidden tree their perspectives changed. Instead of seeing things from God's perspective, their perspective became self-centered. That is why the first thing Adam and Eve did was sew fig leaves together in order to cover their bodies because they were ashamed.
The forbidden fruit that the deceiver told us would make us become like God became poison to our bodies, causing our vision to become blurry. Now we've become the blind leading the blind.
Because God still loved us He allowed his Son to come and live the life that was intended for us to live by never tasting the poison of disobedience. Those who realized how blind they were could now be lead by the Holy Spirit back to God and the poison could be purged from their bodies, and once again they could see.
God knew that the world would not accept Jesus. He knew that the weight of the world would break his body and that he would be crucified.
Before mankind ate the forbidden fruit there was no such thing as someone dying. Death came as a result of our disobedience. Death could not hold Jesus in the grave because he had not tasted the forbidden fruit, but because we have sinned death must overtake us so that we can receive a new body.
The question to be asked now is: How well do you see? Is your view of this world clouded by poisonous fruit? Do you take Jesus's hand and let Him guide you, or do you trust that you can make it by yourself? Even though to those who believe the inevitable result is perfection, perfection is not the goal.
Perspective is the key that opens the door to salvation. If you shut yourself into a dark room close your eyes, everything is unknown, or limited to the imagination. If you turn the lights on or open your eyes, reality is there for you to see. The reality is that our mouths and our bodies are oozing poison, and it does not make us look good at all. When we see ourselves in the light we are disgusted. That's why the darkness is so attractive.
Change can only come when we face reality in the light of who God is. Whether you agree with me or not, I'm telling the truth. You must put your trust in Jesus Christ in order to go to heaven. There is no other way.
I named this new CD "Revealed" because my songs talk about these issues from God's vantage point. Some have happy endings, some have sad endings, and some leave you to wonder.
